Meet Your Craniosacral Therapist
Helena Wilde RCST® MSc
Owner, Registered Craniosacral Therapist, Master’s in Medical Science
Craniosacral Therapy is a balance of science, art and spirit in support of healing and overall wellbeing. A meditator since adolescence, I found myself drawn to the mysteries of life. Fascinated by natural sciences at a young age I pursued a BSc with Distinction, then a MSc in Medical Science. My career began in academic institutions, hospitals, and research laboratories. I facilitated research and published on various aspects of medical diagnostics. During this part of my life, I spent five years as a palliative volunteer and was deeply grateful for its many gifts. These included learning the power of presence and how to connect to my most embodied and grounded self. Finally, throughout my life and to this day, I am a wild places and creative life enthusiast, navigating the natural world and those who live there with reverence.
My journey took a radical turn when I experienced a head and neck injury in a car accident. Craniosacral therapy relieved four years of chronic pain and guided me through a profound recovery to a new life path supporting others as they navigate their own unique journeys. Training in the foundations of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy takes years. Afterward, to become a Registered Craniosacral Therapist, requires annual submission to an international governing body proof of ongoing post graduate training and self-development.
Now, as a Registered Craniosacral Practitioner, I find it deeply rewarding to facilitate my clients’ innate capacity to heal. I approach this touch therapy with respect for the synergy between science and spirit, gently supporting each system as it finds its way back to the expression of its divine blueprint.
